I love shopping at Red Apple in Chelan, but your voice message says you are open until 10 pm. Drove a fair bit to shop there , arrived at 7:30 and the store was closed . What are your hours?

This the local grocery store in Chelan. Their hidden gem is the burgers and other cooked Mexican cuisine. These are probably the best burgers in the area. The fries are yummy too. I think the meat and produce selection are typically good quality. We enjoy getting the local fresh trout when they have it and locally grown produce (which is surprisingly rare). I heard that one of the staff makes amazing smoked salmon, but I've yet to have it. Some day... Their beer selection is amazing! I guess it's because we have so many awesome breweries in Washington. The service at the food counter and cashier check out have all been consistently friendly and helpful.
IGA has a hidden secret inside, a Skipper's. Skipper's used to be a restaurant in the Seattle area that used to be all over the place and now they are becoming harder to find. IGA Deli has it going on. Their burgers and Skippers fish and chips are great! Burgers are juicy and fish is crispy. Their fries and the chowder are so good too! IGA has a beautiful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We purchased two T-bone steaks for dinner this weekend and they were so good! Hardly any bone on the t-bone and it was super tender. IGA is more of a family market IMO. They know their regular customers. Once I accidentally left a bag containing buttermilk at the checkout and when I called they said everything was still there waiting for me and they put the buttermilk in the fridge to keep it cold. It had been about an hour from leaving it until going back to get it abd I didn't have to reshop for my groceries which was awesome!
Great small supermarket that had all that we needed. It is within steps of Worldmark condos, which was very convenient. Prices are fair, and staff is friendly.
Great store that competes with Safeway and Walmart with there nice pricing .. You can get in and out easily and fast here love this store!! Great assortment of everything including a nice wine selection.. The deli is really really really good! Love the fresh salsa and the Mexican Coleslaw.. Also great burgers and so much food in the deli very nicely priced!! Staff super friendly make sure you check out the daily specials in the deli!
